Our initial goal was to become ‘open-source ready’ by the end of 2023. However, with the support and collaboration from CISCO and other dynamic partners, we managed to fast-track our efforts, and successfully open-sourced our entire tech platforms onto GitHub ahead of schedule. While we’re proud of this significant accomplishment, there’s still work ahead. Our next exciting challenge is to enhance the platform’s developer-friendliness, aiming to enable one-click self-hosting. This step will further streamline the experience for our users and broaden the impact of our open-source initiative.

Connect Server

The Standalone Backend for Trace Mobile App offers users autonomy in managing their instances, guarantees smooth data synchronization, serves as a central integration hub, supports additional data collection, and is designed to be modular and scalable, providing a flexible and comprehensive solution for the Trace ecosystem. Serve as a backend for the Trace mobile app, allowing users to deploy their cloud-based instances of the app independently of the main Trace system. This will include configurations like premium payments and access control. Guarantee smooth data synchronization between the Trace mobile app, Trace system, and other external systems, enabling effortless two-way data transfer. Enable the easy import of data from external sources into Trace, as well as the efficient export of data from Trace to external systems, to ensure a fluid exchange of data throughout the ecosystem.

Thermal Printing on Connect App

The Connect App now incorporates a Thermal Printing feature designed specifically for transaction-related processes. This functionality allows users to effortlessly generate invoices using thermal printing technology directly within the app. With this enhancement, users can quickly and conveniently obtain physical copies of their transaction details, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience within the Connect App.

CSV Export on Connect App

The Connect App has been enhanced with a CSV Export feature, providing users with a convenient way to extract and save their data. With this functionality, users can export various types of information, such as transaction records and farmer details in a CSV format directly from the app. Users can now efficiently manage and utilize their data from the Connect App by leveraging the CSV Export feature

Hot synchronization in the Connect app represents a cutting-edge feature designed to optimize and expedite the synchronization process. This functionality is engineered to swiftly identify and rectify any data issues that may arise during the syncing procedure. By leveraging Hot Sync, users can experience a seamless and efficient synchronization, ensuring that their data is consistently accurate and up-to-date.
